Welcome to Maitland Harbour - A Lakefront Community
On Lake Maitland, next to historic Fort Maitland Park, Maitland Harbour is an exclusive and peaceful lakefront community. Conveniently located near the Maitland Cultural Corridor and minutes to Winter Park shopping, restaurants, area museums, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and health and lifestyle venues. Maitland Harbour's Central Florida Mid-Century Modern architectural style expresses the integration of nature and people and the value of community. The aesthetic inspiration for the unique design of Maitland Harbour was a cruise ship … Imagine the surrounding balcony of a cruise ship, the narrowing of the bow, and the smokestacks. The two wings of the building, Andover House (A-side) and the Bentley House (B-side), are connected by a central landing with an elevator. Sharing design features of the Miami Mid-Century Modern, Maitland Harbor is a significant example of the Central Florida mid-century modern style of architecture made famous by five protégés and colleagues of Frank Lloyd Wright, America's most noted architect. The architect for our building was Manfred Lopatka, one of the noted five.
